I created my first website using notepad and hard-coded HTML. I still use is often today when all the WYSIWYG editors fail.

Microsoft Word has been the main tool used for all of my Technical Authoring. Excel was vital when manipulating data to be imported into Microsoft CRM. I created master templates in Powerpoint for Salesmen to use for their presentations.

The Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a general-purpose markup language. It is classified as an extensible language because it allows its users to define their own elements. The Extensible HyperText Markup Language, or XHTML, is a markup language that has the same depth of expression as HTML, but also conforms to XML syntax.
